Jason, Kris & Kyle

As a present for mom, Jason, Kris & Kyle came into the studio to do photos.

I've been taking their photos for years and it's just amazing that they are all grown up.

I did Jason & Kris' senior photos and Kyle will be doing his in the summer of 2011.

Nice thing for me, that Kyle lives in Florida, so some photos in Ohio, so in sunny FLORIDA!!!

Photos with The Albright's

Melissa, Jimmy & Drake came in last night along with their two new puppies.

The puppies were not used to the studio lights and wasn't sure what to make of the entire process, but I think they did a pretty good job, as did Drake, who will soon be 5. It's pretty good to get children at that age to cooperate, and Drake was fantastic. Of course, I've been taking his picture since he was a month old, so I knew he'd do a great job.

Melissa is running for the opening Ward 3 seat here in Grove City being vacated by Larry Corbin. They are holding fundraising even this Thursday, July 16th at Cimi's Bistro Terrace. Please check http://www.uniteforalbright.com for more details.

Thanks Melissa, Jimmy & Drake for coming and giving me the opportunity to photograph you all. It was great getting to meet the new puppies.

Congratulations Amber and AJ Harding

It was indeed a pleasure to work with Amber and AJ on their wedding. They both have wonderful families and there was a lot of laughs, a few tears, but mostly just a lot of fun.

Here's an image that was taken of them just before I left the festivities last night.

It felt funny to photograph something that I didn't have to make smile

I was fortunate to get a call from my good friend Gina who has a great Graphic Design business (check out her link: http://www.gigisprintanddesign.com/). She needed someone to do a quick photo shoot for a promotion that she was working on.

I stopped by her office and picked up a wonderful piece of luggage that the client is using as a promotional giveaway.

Here's the finished product with my photo:

Longtime C&C Customer to seek Ward 3 seat

Longtime customer, Melissa Albright, is seeking the Ward 3 seat currently being held by Mr. Larry Corbin.

Melissa has been a customer of ours for 5 years and she said she couldn't think of anyone else that she would rather have take this very important photo. Family photos are in the plans as soon as she can figure out how to keep the 2 puppies calm for the photos.

See the article about Melissa in the June 25th edition of ThisWeek Community Newspaper. (The photo is not online, but here's the link to the article if you don't get this edition: http://www.thisweeknews.com/live/content/grovecity/stories/2009/06/24/0625grward3_ln.html?sid=104)

If you'd like more information about her platform, please feel free to e-mail her at uniteforalbright@gmail.com. Melissa is a great person and I know that she will do great things for Grove City; she already does in other capacities!

Thanks Melissa for your continued support of my business. I support you as well!!!

A Wet Day at The Memorial.... The Skins Game

With Tiger Woods and Jack Nicholas playing, what a better opportunity to get some great photos on the last day before the tournament starts and the last day you can take a camera!!!

My husband wanted a photo of Tiger and Jack together, maybe even shaking hands, but that probably didn't happen until after I left 17 and the completed 18. By the time I left 17 you would not have been able to get anywhere close to 18.

I did manage to get a couple nice shots even though the weather was horrible.

This shot of Jack is on 11 where he made hit putt. The ball is just going into the cup when I took this photo.

The photo (and the 1st photo above) are Tiger on 17 green.

I was completely soaked and have no idea how
many miles I walked today to get around the
course, but it was all worth seeing these fantasic players.

Know a child that will be in Kindergarten in the fall?

Graduating from Kindergarten is just as big of deal as a senior high graduation and should be celebrated with photos.
We are introducing a new program called KinderGrads. A KinderGrads session is just like the big kids session and is done at a discounted price. You order the package and have it before they are out of school in June. Send them to family and friends, who will enjoy them for years to come.

Contact us today to discuss this great opportunity!!!

Senior Portrait Ad in This Week News, Grove City

Some folks are receiving their issue of This Week News in Grove City today, but most will receive it tomorrow. The following advertisement is in the Graduation insert

Congratulations to Lauren (largest photo on right) of Grove City, who is in the Grove City High School Class of 2009 and a member of the Grove City Marching Band, along with Jamie (bottom photo) of Centerville, who is in the Centerville High School Class of 2009 and is a member of the Centerville Jazz Band.

The top photo is Jeremy Adkins, who has joined our Street Team. Jeremy will be a Senior at Grove City High School, Class of 2010, and is passing out information and discount cards for our studio.

The second photo is Bethany Ward, who has also joined our Street Team. Bethany will be a Senior at Central Crossing High School, Class of 2010, and is passing out information and discount cards for our studio.

Our approach to photography is an "all inclusive" approach. No more session fees, paying extra for poses, black and white photos, and the like. We also don't tell you what size photos you're getting in a Collection purchase. You get a "studio credit" to use as you see fit. Isn't it nice to not end up with photo sizes that you don't need or want?? We thought so.

Give us a call at 614-288-7688 or better yet, drop us an e-mail at
info@capturencreativity.com and we'll be glad to set up a free, no obligation chat to discuss your senior photography needs and expecations!!

Wonderful Maternity photos

Gina and Cole came into the studio on Sunday to capture Gina's final weeks of pregnancy. Lauren will be here very soon and Cole will be a big brother.

I have taken Cole's photos in the past and I found out on Sunday that Cole really loves to take photos. I let him hold my camera to take a picture of Mom (see here right) which just thrilled him so much that on the last set of photos, Cole picked up my camera turned it to take a portrait photo and actually took a pretty good photo. This is pretty amazing because he's 4 and my professional camera is pretty heavy.

What a wonderful day and wonderful family.

I am looking forward to meeting baby Lauren and taking her first photos.
